NYS General Municipal Law Section 207

NYS GML Section 207, subsections a and c, provide for the payment of the full amount of regular salary or wages to firefighters (subsection a), police officers and/or corrections officers (subsection c) with injuries or illness incurred in the performance of their duties. These sections also provide for payment for medical and hospital expenses.
