Plan Design
Maxon can assist in the design of a client’s plan of benefits. Whether such assistance is in the form of a simple duplication or a total plan revision including actuarially determined costs, we will review the plan to determine its desirability for the client and to insure compliance with mandated benefit laws. Plan design includes the determination of desired benefit parameters such as deductibles and co-insurance, utilization review, selection of appropriate Provider Networks (PPO's), Pharmacy Benefit Managers, as well as the placement of insured coverages such as Stop Loss, Life, Disability, and Long Term Care.
Trust Drafting
Maxon’s staff attorney can provide necessary trust documentation for client adoption in order to comply with ERISA’S requirement that all assets of funded employee benefit plans be placed in a trust [ERISA 403(a)].
Plan Description, Summary Plan Description
Maxon can review and/or assist in the drafting and/or production of the Plan Description and Summary Plan Description and ensure accurate reflection of plan benefits and compliance with all relevant federal and state laws and regulations.
