Service
Maxon performs
all functions attendant to the efficient administration of a client’s
plan of benefits. These functions are performed by the operational
interface of professional claims personnel and a state of the art
data processing system. Adjudication decision-making resides in the
hands of expert personnel with an average experience of 10 years.
Benefit calculation and data base management are provided by a Fujitsu/Siemens
RM600 series, Unix based enterprise server, running proprietary benefit
management applications.
Our claims
administration application incorporates U&C, RBRVS, and custom schedules,
while integrating in-network and out-of-network benefits.

Service
Maxon’s
customer service department is accessed through a nationwide 800 service.
It also maintains a TTY service for the hearing-impaired.
Most importantly,
Maxon’s customer service department does not access a voice mail
system during normal business hours. This decision was reached because
we want a person to be at the other end of a call from a claimant.
On-line
access for claims status is also available.
